The Office of the Schools Adjudicator has published a decision on a variation to the admission arrangements of Charnock Hall Primary School, Sheffield. The school and council had requested that the admission number for September 2006 be reduced.

The adjudicator, Dr Philip Hunter, agreed with the school that it will improve more quickly if the number of entrants is reduced from 64 to 60. He is satisfied that there will be no reduction in parental choice in the area.
